How a sale works

Buyer messages or makes an offer. When the seller accepts, an order is created with the price, the fee and the payout in plain sight.

The buyer marks it paid, the seller marks it sent, the buyer confirms receipt. Both sides can then leave a review.

Buyer protection

Buyer protection applies to completed Tradewind sales only. Deals arranged off-platform — bank transfer at the beach, cash on collection outside an order — aren't covered.

If the item never arrives, or is materially not as described, raise it in the order thread within 48 hours of receipt.

Collection and Here Today

Meeting at a spot is normal in watersports. Inspect the kit before you pay, and still record the sale as an order so both sides get the protection and the reputation.

Disputes

Report the order or message from the thread. Our team reviews both sides, the listing description and the photos, and decides within a few days.

Returns

Private sales are sold as seen unless the item is misdescribed. Verified shops selling in a business capacity must honour UK consumer law, including the 14-day right to cancel.
