What we store
Account details (email, display name, username), your profile (bio, approximate location, avatar), your listings, conversations, offers, orders and reviews.
Optional things you choose to add: home spots, check-ins, saved searches and wishlist items.
Location
We only ever publish the town or the named public spot — never a precise address or live GPS trail. Distance sorting happens in your browser using your device location and isn't stored.
Conditions data
Live wind, tide and daylight come from the free Open-Meteo API using the spot's coordinates, not yours.
Notifications
You control every category in Settings. Transaction notifications for live offers and orders stay on so nobody misses a sale.
Your rights
You can edit or delete your profile data at any time, and ask us to remove your account. Email privacy@tradewind.co.uk and we'll action it.
