What we store
Account details (email, display name, username), your profile (bio, approximate location, avatar), your listings, conversations, offers, orders and reviews.
Optional things you choose to add: home spots, check-ins, saved searches and wishlist items.
Location
We only ever publish the town or the named public spot — never a precise address or live GPS trail. Distance sorting happens in your browser using your device location and isn't stored.
Conditions data
Weather forecasts are fetched on a schedule using public spot and launch coordinates. Pages and session alerts read the same saved forecast. Viewing a page does not request a personal forecast from Open-Meteo. Tide predictions may also use the Admiralty provider when configured.
Riding preferences are saved on your device. If you sign in and configure session alerts, the relevant riding conditions and time allowances are also stored with your alert settings. Optional weight and equipment labels are not needed to receive basic forecasts.
Notifications
You control every category in Settings. Transaction notifications for live offers and orders stay on so nobody misses a sale.
Terms acceptance records
When final terms apply, we record your account identifier, the document version and its content fingerprint, the time you accepted it and whether acceptance related to account use, selling or checkout. Orders retain references to their applicable accepted versions. These records evidence agreements; they are separate from marketing consent. We do not collect an IP address solely for this acceptance record.
[LEGAL_RECORD_RETENTION_PERIOD_AND_LAWFUL_BASIS] must be confirmed before launch. Some order and agreement evidence may need to be retained after account closure where required or justified by law; it is not all automatically erased with a profile.
Your rights
You can update your profile and request access, correction or erasure of personal data through [PRIVACY_CONTACT]. Applicable rights and any lawful retention requirements must be explained in the final notice. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
